SDR Performance Review

A complimentary external assessment for sales leaders who believe an SDR or BDR has more potential than current performance reflects.

Before investing in training or coaching, it helps to understand where the greatest opportunities for improvement actually lie.

Why this review?

Performance metrics show what an SDR has achieved, but not always why conversations progress or stall. Reviewing one or two real sales conversations can reveal observable behaviours, strengths and development priorities worth exploring—without assuming that a conversation alone establishes the cause of a performance challenge. This gives you a clearer basis for deciding whether coaching or training is the right next step.

Conversation Quality

Questioning, listening, discovery, call structure and confidence may influence how a conversation develops.

A Clear Starting Point

An external perspective helps uncover genuine development opportunities before making a larger investment in training or coaching.

What the review includes

1. Manager Intake

A 30-minute conversation with the manager to understand the role, context and performance challenge.

2. Call Review

A review of one or two sales conversations, either live or recorded.

3. Feedback Session

A 30-minute assessment and feedback session focused on practical observations and recommended next steps.

What we assess

Discovery

How effectively the conversation explores the customer’s situation, challenges and priorities.

Question Quality

Whether the questions create relevance, insight and forward movement in the conversation.

Listening Behaviour

How effectively the sales professional listens, probes further and acts on what the customer says.

Call Structure

How preparation, flow, focus and follow-up support the effectiveness of the conversation.

Confidence and Ownership

How clearly the sales professional takes responsibility for the conversation and the agreed next steps.

Coachability

How well feedback is understood, applied and translated into daily practice.

What you will gain

After the review, you will have:

Greater Clarity

A clearer understanding of what may be limiting performance and where existing strengths can already be seen.

Development Priorities

Insight into the behaviours that deserve focused attention and practice.

An Informed Next Step

A clearer view of whether coaching may be an appropriate next step and which development priority deserves further attention. More about Sales Coaching.

Simple and Commitment-Free

No lengthy report, no obligation and no requirement for further engagement.

Who is this for?

Sales Managers, SDR Managers, BDR Leaders and Revenue Leaders who would value a structured external perspective on the performance of an individual sales professional.

Sales Leaders

For leaders who want to better understand a specific performance challenge before deciding on an intervention.

A Specific Situation

For a real sales conversation, role-related challenge or development opportunity that deserves focused attention.

Would an external review help?

To ensure sufficient time and attention, only three SDR Performance Reviews are currently available.

Do you believe an SDR or BDR on your team has more potential than current performance reflects? If so, briefly describe the situation, the primary challenge and why you have selected this individual for an external review.
